Q1. Are you working late tonight?
Not tonight, thankfully. We just finished a big campaign, so I'm heading home on time for once. Last week was a different story.
Q2. How many hours a week do you work?
Officially forty, but I usually put in about forty-five. It depends on the season — during a product launch it can go up to fifty.
Q3. What's the longest you've ever worked in one day?
Once I worked about fourteen hours straight before a launch. We ordered pizza at midnight and finished at 2 a.m. I don't want to do that again.
Q4. How do you feel about working overtime?
I don't mind it occasionally, but if it becomes the norm, people burn out. We do get paid for it, which helps, but time is time.
Q5. What do you think of the idea of working four days a week?
I'm all for it. A four-day week would push everyone to focus and cut pointless meetings. Honestly, I think we'd get the same amount done.
